Tinting side markers?

Tinting side markers?
I removed my front and rear sidemarkers to paint my car and I sort of like the darker color's contrast. I was wondering if anyone has tinted their sidemarkers or has pictures of it.

i tinted mine on my monte carlo, and they looked realgood. i used model spray tint, and after a while, it peeled off. I also used it on my S-10 tail lights and it never cracked or peeled.

yeah it does look good on lighter color vehicles with the tinted lenses...i saw a silverado at world of wheels in New Orleans a couple of years that was a beige color with factory lenses but they were tinted and it looked great, but i never thought about that on my car...good idea...

Re: Tinting side markers?
VHT nite shades with lots of clearcoat. I am thinking of buying a few cans to tint my stock front corners on my car and the rear side markers. get a super fine grit sandpaper and give the lenses a very light scuff and it should come out very nice as long as you use a lot of light coats and about 2-3 minutes between coats and then clearcoating 10 minutes after you finish with multiple light coats of clearcoat. I did my taillights on my old s10 and they looked sweet as hell. Everyone used to ask me where i bought my taillights and i could only thell them that i did them myself. if you want some pics of my s10 tails for reference i can send em. well thats my .02
