trans am vinyl inserts
i posted this in the wrong section so i figured id move it here....
I have the red reflective vinyl inserts for the rear trans am logo...
there these except red.... http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...9e4e5088b377d8
The problem is the lettering that go into the P O N T I A C is falling out. The first time the A was coming out so i glued it back in. But washing my car today the A and the C came completely off and then the P and N are looking to be coming to. So i grabbed my hero (gorilla glue) and glued them in and put tape up on it to hold it in. If it comes off again im just going to peel it all off and live with it but i figured maybe someone on here would have a method they used or something. Any Info is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

Re: trans am vinyl inserts
That is not right! And, you really don't want to "glue" them in either!!!
The vinyl is either no good or something went wrong during the install. I've heard of corners peeling a little but the letters FALLING OFF would typically mean there had to be something on the paint when they were installed.
I'd take them off and just get some new ones... they aren't that expensive
And, if you got them from me (don't think you did because don't have your email address in my records) I'd replace them for free for you just because by what you are describing, something went way wrong!
