Post What tires to get for 18" torque thrust II's?!

My boss knows a guy that works for AM Racing. He can get me 18" TTII's for $150 each! But before I buy them I want to know what kind and size rubber to put on them. I am clueless when it comes to tires. I just know I want them to be wide/low profile and good quality. Also what is the best place (cheapest) to get them? I plan to put the 18x8's up front and 18x10's in the rear. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can use 285x35x18 rear and 275x35x18 front or 275x35x18 all around.

It differs in diameter and tread width. Look up at www.tirerack.com for specifics.

You can run 275/35/18 on all 4 corners. That is the setup that I went with.

Go with four 18x10's - there's no reason to put smaller wheels up front.

I went with Yokohama AVS dB 275/35 all around to match the factory diameter - on the 10" wide rim they will look good and wide. They are a quality tire and second cheapest to the Kumho's.

Are you sure they won't stick out if I go with 18x10's up front?! I don't want them to go past the fenders. John.

275= width of tire (more looks better)
35= sidewall amount (less looks lower pro)
18- RIm size (obviously)
