Who would be interested in a different headlight assembly for 93-97 Camaro's?

Well, this thread is for those "INTERESTED in a new headlamp assembly for the 93-97 Camaro's". If you are not interested, then please don't bring your negative comments to the thousands of us in this thread that are.

I wasn't posting a negative comment, but more stating my opinion. I have that right.....don't I? I also said that I'm "INTERESTED" in seeing what comes out of this even though I won't be buying them. Sorry if I offended you, but I have been following along with this thread just like everyone else here so you can take my opinion however you want to. I'm not here trying to start a pissing match with anyone and who knows, mabye what I think they will make and what they actually start producing will be 2 completely different things. I guess we'll have to wait and see

though I am excited to see the end result...I was wondering if anyone at Focuztech has maybe a rough sketch of some ideas on the car?

Folks-
I am sorry we have been so quiet...not an indication of how busy we are.
I just picked up our Camaro from our plastics manufacturer after doing quite a bit of measuring and design work. The benchmark for "appearances" sake is the picture above. We are designing the bezel and housing to look very similar to whats pictured above. There are numerous challenges with this as the height of the headlamp opening on the Camaro is much smaller...shorter. In addition the headlight mounting bracket that is part of the front fascia does not afford alot of mounting options. Also the trailing edge of the hood, at the headlamp opening, is cut back which makes setting the modules fore and aft abit of a challenge...again the goal is not cutting and drilling.
At any rate, we have arrived on a preliminary design (pending actual adjustments during test fit) and expect to have a final figure for tooling, engineering and molding very soon.

If you feel like wasting time, go check out the photochops I made around page 10 or so. I have one with the Koniggsegg lights on my Camaro.

Lights
I am very interested in these lights, anyone know when we are going to be able to buy these things?

Guys-
I apologize...long overdue for an update...
Our plastics shop is late in supplying me with a quote...I am due to have it this week. I have been pushing for this the last two weeks. I will have an update next week. No causes for concern...we all have been super busy-

It's been in the works since I came up with the idea some 9 months ago. If they had any pics of the progress I'm sure they would have posted them up.
I too would like to see updates every couple of weeks or every month, but I'm sure they are too busy to keep us that much in the loop of things.

Starting from just an idea I had, to real life headlamps takes time. We all want them to be done now, but the reality is that they will simply take time. Think of all the time and money spent in getting a car, figuring the wiring, getting different companies involved with the moldings, and castings, and electrics, and then lights... There's a lot to do with these as they aren't like coming out with a new shifter **** that would be simple.
Be patient with me as we all wait for FocuzTech's product to be finished. These will be worth the wait.
