Why wont wagon wheels fit my t/a?
I just got some wagon wheels for my 95 T/A, I proceeded to install them but the studs are too short... i thought they were supposed to bolt right in. I have factory wheel locks, think that may be the problem? I was thinking of replacing the studs with 2.25 inch studs... what should i do?

take a Dremel and open up the center hole (hub hole) a little bit, corvette and 98 and new Trans ams and camaros have a slightly smaller hub holes in their wheels.
Alot of people have done this (enlarging the cent hub hole) with a dremel with a grinding wheel on it.

even with the larger hole i think the stud length would still be a problem... so would you recommend replacing the studs with longer ones? THe ones i have on there right now have like no tread on the tips im guessing because of the nuts that came with the wheels. Should I also replace the nuts?

Just grind the hole. I was going to switch wheels on my V6 with a 97 Z28 that SS rims, and for mine to fit, they had to grind the wheel to fit on the 97. Do it and it will work. Unless I am reading it wrong.

does it have to be all even and very preisce? How much should I take off all the edges? Im asking so I dont totally screw it up and ruin the wheels... also can i use the stock lug nuts or to i have to get special ones?

You should be able to use the lugnuts. Just get a dremel and you should be in business. The way the dude was grinding it, I don't think it was precise lol. Also since I had to pass on the awesome deal, I put them back on my ride and they were the same way on the ride back home. Just make sure it sits even. Guy grinding it with a medium bit and was there for like 2 minutes going in complete circles so one place would not be over grinded.

Do they fit on the front of the car? If so, grinding out the wheels probably isn't your problem. You should only have to grind the rear wheels, because the LS1 axel is just a little bit smaller than the LT1. The front hubs are the same.

I used to love wagon wheels when I was a kid.
They seem so small now..........and thin too - I swear they had way more marshmallow when I took them in my lunch in grade school.
I think I'm getting ripped off........
