Why wont wagon wheels fit my t/a?

I got them to fit, but broke a stud in the process... BUT MAN DO THEY LOOK NICE on a Burgundy T/A... i painted them darker than stock... ill try to post some pics soon

I was going to move this to The Lounge because it seemed like a joke. However, it does appear that "wagon wheels" is a slang term for a real type wheel??? I must be behind the times but what type wheel are you referring to (non slang)???

yes, the wagon wheels is slang for the c5 fat spoke wheels
they use that term over on corvetteforum.com all the time.

My friend was trying to be all hulko macho and stuff and he over tightened one bolt and it just popped off...

I still don't really understand why they call them wagon wheels. The term had to come from somewhere. I mean how many wagons do you see that are riding on 17"s and 18"s???
