Is this worth it?

I am about to get the paint on my Z fixed since someone decided to key it .

I can get the 3 panels were its keyed for 380. Now i can also get the front and back bumper painted for 500 ( thats including the 3 panels to). so 120 for the front and back bumper. This includes all the sanding.

Now i can get another friend to do the 3 panels for 300 and we have to do all the sanding ourselfs.

I am planning on selling my car. And the key mark and the front and back bumper are the only thing thats keeping it from almost flawless paint job. Besides the few chips and fine scratchs here there.

Would you think getting the front and back number paint would get me more for the car then just having the side painted?

The only problem with the front and back bumper is that its spider cracked in the back pretty bad just along the part facing up and then again on the front which is less noticeable. Also there is a white hue on the front that i dont know how to get off.

If you have that extra cash go for it, then just tack it on the selling price, because you will probably get a better selling price if it looks almost flawless. Just my opinion.

from what i hear yes.

the one for 380 is thru a friend of mine. His cousin/family owns a car dealership. It was some mexican guy that couldnt really speak english that is the painter so that kinda worried me lol. But just because of that i can't just look at him and say hes not a good painter. They showed me a porcshe of his cousin's that he did and you couldn't even tell it was repainted.

And the other one for 300 is thru another friend and the dude that does it repainted his truck when it got keyed and also paintes lexus's so i figured he would be good.

I figures for the front and back bumper at 60 bucks each thats a hell of a deal and about 120 for each panel he has to repaint. They insured me that he would do a good job and thats what my friend has told me. But besides that those little dealer shops like his cousins makes PHAT profit. They get the car REAL cheap from auctions that only dealers can go to.

For an extra $120.00 get the bumpers painted too, that's dirt cheap. You wouldn't want to sell your car with half a new paint job and half with some oxidized paint.
