SLP Bilsteins are valved for whimpy 300-450# front springs.

We sell regular HD's for $329. Revalves are $480. HD's are not anywhere near up to the task of damping lowering springs correctly, and progressive ones like Hypercoils are totally out of the realm of reality for an HD.

The question was asked why not send in the shocks to Bilstein and have them do it for $55 per. You certainly can if you wish. However they will not install any of my valvings since they are proprietary. We also revalve on a case by case basis, depending on the goal we're trying to accomplish. Bilstein also feels the HD is adequate, which is what they sell in their BTS kits. I do not agree with that feeling, and anyone who's driven on both HD's and my revalves I'm sure will agree.

But how long do we have to wait for these? !!! I sit here and stare at my springs everyday, waiting to put them in. What is the deal with them anyway?
