Post thinking of going with a auto trans with high stall

I am building a 383 should be producing close to 500 hp on motor and also running a 200 shot on it next year. I have a t56 and love it I just dont think It will hold up to it at the drag stip and I love the manual for auto xing my ? is do any of you guys run auto x's with say a 3500 stall in them I plan on a turbo 400 and a gearvenders overdrive just dont know if I will have to give up auto xing or not dont really want to but dont want to bust my trans either I can sell it and get most the money for the auto setup.I also have 4.10 gears Also has anyone auto x on ebiach drag springs? sorroy so long just need to make up my mind what I want to do thanks

My 88 had a 383, TH350, 373 gears & 3000 stall in it and I couldn't keep the back tires planted coming off the corners. I had all the tire smoke I could handle any time I wanted it though. It made for a good show. I was alone in my class anyway.
