Unbelievable, Dodge releases an awesome awd big motor Hemi that makes 40 more hp and torque that gets better gas mileage and all some of you guys can do is bitch about what they said about how far it can go. The same type of person who could win the lottery and bitch about having to pay the taxes on it, jesus!

I wasn't really complaining, I was simply pointing out a trend I'm noticing many automakers are following in their marketing, a method to make the fuel economy of their vehicles sound more impressive than it actually is.

I guess I just don't get "fast" SUV's.

If you asked me what the one Chrysler I would be likely to ever get it would be Charger

I'm with you. I really don't get it either. I think we may be the odd ones on this though.

When I think ultimate SUV, I think off-road.

Nice ride and if I was in the market it would be a great replacement for our TB SS except for this ....

I miss my TBSS something fierce. They are great because you can have fun with them in the summer and winter (if you have AWD), smoke some Mustangs at the stop lights and tow something when you need to. Perfect all-around vehicle for my lifestyle.

At least it can tow something...the previous SRT8 grand cherokee was impossibly to tow with to my knowledge (I suppose if you rerouted the exhaust the holes for a hitch are probably still there).

Sucks, since my old WJ Overland witht he 4.7L HO V8 is rated to tow 6,500 pounds (and we acutally tow around 4,000 wtih it no problem).

Not a fan of the wheels, but I like the fact that they put an LS3 in there.

Oh wait...

looks ok, but i prefer the looks of the previous generation. it looked more muscular imo. Also, the front fascia on this one almost looks too low compared to the "sideskirts"

No that is sort of what I think. The "fast" ones are meant to be faster on road. Don't see much point to that myself. Offroad capability is usually reduced a bit by some of the alterations they make.
