Buick #1 on Zeta list

Really is quite scary that the car is ready and my not be produced until late in the decade. I would think that it will be outdated. That's why they need it sooner rather than later...something crisp and new.

Hmmm...Remember the leaked 93 Camaro pictures/drawings?
If I remember right, that was in 89! 4 years before the car came out! Tell you the truth, my '96 may just be starting to look dated. Many, many people tell me that it must be a newer car and not more than a couple years old.
So, while the styling may be done now, don't necessarily assume it'll look outdated when introduced.

If the car is indeed done (and IS the Camaro that is), when is that contract scheduled to expire? Does anyone know a specific date? If it expires soon, then if I was GM, I would be already looking for a place for the car to be built.

If this is truely the case, then it is hard to explain why there would be no Camaro for MY2007...
The contract should be dead by then, freeing up the name, and the plant... I dont see how that should be a huge issue... they are goign to need to start the Zeta plant off with some car... why not Camaro?!?

Well unless they put Zeta is a brand new plant (not what I am hearing), the car will go in a plant that currently has product. That means that Zetas phase in and ramp up could entirely be dependent on when the products currently being made at the plant are set to die. For some reason I am wondering when the Park Avenue and LaSabre go bye bye.

Ya, I wouldn't expect a brand new plant, either...
Do we have a list of what plants build what vehicles, and when those are set to die off? Maybe this could help paint a picture of when different plants could open up for a product changeover.
