concepts for the 98-02 F-Bodies
I was wondering if anyone has any pics or sketches of different designs that GM was thinking about for the 98-02 F-bodies, basically the different front ends they were considering??

Sure, just looks at some pictures of the Chryslers and you'll have the models for the Camaro. You'd think they'd put some Chevrolet in the car.

The other night when I was driving I saw a car coming up on me and I swore it was a late model Camaro.........turns out it was a Chrysler Concord.....weird that you noticed that too.

It's just a coincidence that they have similar front ends...
But, Chrylser has tried to use 4th gen Camaro styling in the past... the original Sebring convertinble has a VERY similar rear end to the 4th Gen Camaro... and it came out well after the 93 Camaro.
I honestly think that some companies try to make their more pedestrian cras 'borrow' other companies enthusiast car cues on purpose, for two reasons:
1) To give their car a little bit more of a sporty look, and
2) To actually try to knock down the uniqueness of a competitors car...
Just my .02 on the subject...

If I'm not mistaken, the '97 Pontiac Rageous concept was unveiled prior to the '98 makeover and gives a bit of a preview for the '98 Trans Am.

Good call. The Rageous has alot of design cues that went into the 98+ T/A. I have to admit the Rageous is one amazing car. Probably the coolest concept Pontiac has ever done. I wish GM would have an auction for all its concept cars, kinda like Ford did a few months ago. That would be so cool to go see, although I could never afford one!! In my dreams maybe...
