How About a Corvette for Camaro Z28 Money - Read On
With all of the talk of "alternatives" to the Camaro, there is one that has been overlooked. Year old Corvette coupes are beings sold at auction for less than you would think. I know of an instance where a dealer purchased a Corvette coupe with just 10,000 miles for $25k. He immediately marked the car at $37,000, and sold it to a real sucker for $33k!
Just because the dealers are greedy doesn't mean that you can't get a good used Corvette for less than the price of the outgoing Camaro Z28. The $8,000-12,000 profit margin that some dealers would like to see on used 'Vettes is yours for the taking. If you want an affordable performance car in this buyer's market, I would suggest that you DIG THE SPURS into your local car dealer. Don't worry about hurting their feelings - these creeps really don't have any.

Yeah, for the price of a new F-body, you could buy a used C5, or a 4-5 year old M3, or any number of desirable used cars.
But, to be honest, nothing really beats the feeling of a new car. And if you happen to be a Camaro enthusiast.....it's going to be a long dry spell.
