New GTO commercial
I just saw the first commercial for the GTO. I read about it, but didn't recognise the commercial til the end. It starts out with a bunch of smoke... you hear an exhaust rumble and a strange squealing sound... you see the outline of what looks to be a car through the smoke... you see the headlights through the smoke... that strange sound is a tire squeal... you see a wheel spinning with smoke bellowing off the tire... (that's when I knew what it was all about)... then it says something like "The GTO is back. Fuel for the soul. Pontiac"
IMHO That was the best car commercial since the Ram Air LS1 Trans Am commercials.

that ram air commercial gobbling up some inport at the stop light is still the best ...you guys remember the 98 camaro commercial, where all the biker dudes let the z28 roll threw the center of them?

Sorry. My favorite is still the Ram Air - asaurus ad where it eats another car. I like the ad due to how you can see and hear a lot of the TA during the ad.
The new GTO ad leaves me flat. Does nothing to tout the car's awesome bucket seats, the quality, and so on.

Yea this was just a teaser commercial I have a good feeling that just before or near the time of the NAIAS Pontiac will have a good full length commercial for the GTO. I also noticed they have been sponsoring some NCAA Football games so maybe some commercials for the GTO during the bowl season.

It's about time a domestic producer came out with a great performance car commecial. I mean the Ford ones with the " I want a red convertial mustang blah blah blah" ones were boring. If only the F-bodies had a commerical like this other than the 1998 T/A one.(which was cool too)
