gotta be chevys version of the Ion..and they said it would be shared on diffrent GM platforms..

Actually, check the new issue of Motor Trend, and they have a picture of the new Opel Vectra which is a spitting image of this car. The Malibu will be on the Epsilon platform with Vectra. The car still looks alot bigger than the old Malibu.
