I think the top colors would be red or blue. Though white would work also with stripes. Maybe GM will use the Camaro's ribbon for the colors and make it back with a red, white, and blue stripe.

No matter what this concept looks like, you can't make everyone happy. You have the retro crowd, the retro haters crowd, then you have the evolution crowd. The term that has been thrown around is its "hertiage themed", To me that sounds like the concept is a blend of a little bit of everything, and I think I will like that.

I think it should be something BOLD, as with all concepts. Maybe a fusion orange or Daytona Suset Orange from the Corvette.

JMO anyway. Although the Solstice was primarily displayed in silver throughout most of its concept days and it looked quite appealing, but the Solstice doesn't have the aggressive "in your face" look that a Camaro should have.
Actually, the first Z06 to be unveiled (at NAIAS) was yellow. Simulanteously, we unveiled a Silver one at the LA show.

A thought? The yellow did not highlight the special body panels of the Z06...but the Silver did.......metallics do that...esp. light metallics. (I really hadn't thought of it until several people ....enthusiasts, not GMers.....mentioned it to me)

Boy, I'd bet that Nassau Blue would really show off those body lines! (and it would let me see what my new Z/28 would look like too... )

For whatever reason, I've had a feeling that it will be blue.

Re: A serious question about the NAIAS "unveiling"....

My biggest hope is that the concept is not an outrageous caricature of what the production car will look like. What is the point of a design study that needs signifigant tweeking to produce.

One car the pops in my mind is the G6 concept. It looked GREAT! (especially the interior). The production car, though basically similar in design, just has a factor to it. The production Solstice on the otherhand is very true to the concept in terms of styling.

I would much prefer the concept be at least 90% true to the production car. Anything less, and you get peoples hopes up, or down, for a car that is vastly different from what you intend to make.

Oh! I must have confused which show coverage I saw then? I think the first one I saw was the silver one.

You're probably right about the metallic highlighting some of the lines on the car, so maybe as someone suggested earlier, Sunset Orange Metallic or something like that? But that Nassau Blue sure is purdy too!!

I know what you mean and the G6 is a good example. Frankly, I don't even know what the point of the G6 concept was, compared to the production car.
