I'm not sure you'll get a call from Fritz but I'm sure Scott will buy you a beer next time you see him.

I guess you got lucky with the silver RS. Was this your first time seeing one in person? What did you think?
Yup, first production one I've seen. I thought the car was awesome. It made the C6 next to it look bland in comparison (at least in my mind) The styling is amazing inside and out. The car really stands out. I just wish every GM car was this good, they wouldn't have the problems they do now, this is really a top notch product. GM really dropped the ball though by not making a Zeta sedan with equally amazing styling for those that need more interior room.

I can't wait to drive one. I'm hoping a local rental company has one summer, I'd like to drive one for a weekend.

I happen to love the G8's styling.

The interior falls a little short, but not enough to prevent me from buying one (it's the lack of money that's prevent me from buying one).

I guess that is true, I want the 304HP V6 + 6 speed combo though

The list isn't complete, and I suspect that it's not necessarily the true MSRP -- it's the agreed sale price, including dealer options and markup.

Did you ask him what it's like knowing the CFO has a faster car than him?

Well at least they'll be below 50k in the US. I built one on the Canadian site and it came to 44k or so I can't remember and considering SRT8 Challengers are still going for 60k here and are high 40's on the website Im guessing a new 2SS will be 55-60k here

The Oshawa plant's production ramping up process is much slower than anticipated for various reasons, mainly to get everything right.

As of right now, 200 to 250 per day are being built and overtime will be scheduled so in other words, they are way behind.

There is one near me in the $40K's. It probably is a loaded 2SS the 21" wheel option and ground effects.

Looks like I'm going out with the camera tomorrow!

Ya, I brought that up, and he said to let him get all the tickets.
