Do not do business with him unless you want to throw money away.

Short story is he posted he had a Scat 4340 3.750 crank for sale. I sent him the money it took him almost a month to send the crank after I sent him several e-mails and pms. Received the crank and guess what it's a Scat 9000, a crank I already have. Sent him several more e-mails and never replied and THEN he deletes his for sale post, figures!!

Jody - That's a bummer! I just did a search and found a very similar thread about him selling a crank awhile back...same one perhaps? I hope he does the right thing this time and returns your money...good luck!

 

yeah i was the one he did the SAME thing too..weird though..he payed me back out of nowhere(took almost 6 months)

 

Well, that's some what good to hear. Hopefully he'll contact me and either 1. send me the right crank or 2. give me my money back, but I won't hold my breath.

all he said was that it was a 4340 steel crank. why didnt you get a part number or asked if it was forged before you sent payment?

i am sorry that hew wont take the time to reach an understanding with you. being screwed out of money is never any good. good luck with trying to resolve the problem.

 

doesnt 4340 mean forged usually? i could be wrong...
