Bad seller, gave him $2500! for a LT1 T56 transmission swap. Claimed the T56 was a level 5 build from RPM. When I received the transmission it does not have the bronze shifter busing RPM uses in their Level 5 builds, so my best guess is that it isn't a level 5 tranny. The throwout bearing sleeve was damaged. Not a huge deal, filed a claim with FedEx which was approved. Great right? Wrong, he kept the MONEY! The slave cylinder is broken, the pedal assembly isn't complete. He didn't include the cross member or the dust boot like we agreed on. Prior to me sending me money we was very helpful and answered all my questions. I have been trying to reach him for 2+ weeks and will not answer my calls or respond to my messages.

When your sending someone that much money, you better answer their calls and messages!

Was able to finally contact Chris, the issue is potentially resolved will update.

 

Sorry to drudge up such an old thread. Did this ever get involved?

I have sent him money on 12/29 and now have not had ANY contact. I'm currently waiting on a claim with Paypal.
