Re: Feedback for seller RuSSty

like i said it has been several hours since NOSFED has posted and i asked for pics of all 16 lobes and we will see who's the bad one here....

2 different interpertations of the condition of this cam show pics and settle this.

i am still here, i havent run off explaing my side of my story pretty clear, do you think i am going to run off or something cause i am not but i stand behind the fact that the cam WAS NOT IN FACT damaged like he states...

if this is such a one sided argument why is it others see my point of view as well,i must not be the only one who thinks this way...

Pictures would be nice that way ruining a reputation on here is at least justified if it has to happen.

Re: Feedback for seller RuSSty

seems the question is does the cam have normal wear or not. maby the seller or buyer dosnt know the difference between a damaged cam and normal wear.

id like to see pics

Yep ...

But really, if there is a lip you can feel plainly with your fingernail, thats beyond normal wear.

Leaving lines where the roller of the lifter rides on the cam lobe is normal. Wearing it down, to the point of there being lip that can be felt with a fingernail ... Thats beyond normal wear.

Maybe it was run on the wrong valve springs

AggieZ28 ~ Good point you made. I was just saying, that if you feel a lip there, it is worn out. And its something that the seller should refund for. Especially if the buyer didnt know until it was recieved. Even if neither party knew the condition of the cam prior to the purchase, it is known now (Sort of, need pics maybe?) and should be dealt with. I'm not saying he tried screwing this guy over, but if he knows know that being able to ffeel a lip on it indicates it is worn too much, he hsould step up, be a man, and do something about it.

the was no lip when i shipped out cam on any of the lobes.NORMAL WEAR is what was listed and stated in my ad and that is what i SENT HIM.

also this cam was running all new valvetrain parts new lifters, new push rods, rockers, and ls1 behive valve springs which hold well over .600 lift so wh would there be any lifter jumping i dont get this i sent out a perfectly good usable cam for good $ now i have to face a REP loss on this board due to someones PICKINESS....seriously post pics..

kinda an iffy topic sometimes

if he said it was in good working order and when the guy go tit it was not it would be nice to refund the $.

but then again things are sold as is.

lets say you sell a tranny that was removed from a car working fine. a guy buys it and opens it up and there is a crack on an internal part.
i would say he is NOT entitled to any $$ back.

imo its kind of an iffy situation abotuthe cam.
the wording in the forsale thred may play a big role in the outcome imo.

you be good at good at addressing this her situation

i think the seller is makign a good point. he says he sold a cam with normal wear. the buyer says he got one with bad wear/damage.

pics will help clear it up

Re: Feedback for seller RuSSty

IMO if the buyer was so worried about this cam and thought it was a bad cam he would be all over this thread like white on rice to make sure he got his money back. I know I would be posting pictures if I was the buyer and felt I was wronged. I am guessing by his lack of response on this thread that Russty sold him the item as described.

people do have lives beside this board and their cars.

are you expecting him to put off the rest of his life so he can take care of a $155 problem in his hobby???

im sure he is concerned abotuthe issue but i doubt it is very high on a overall priority list of things to do.

Re: Feedback for seller RuSSty

I have dealt with RuSSty and nosfed and both seemed to be very good people. I don't think that either would purposely screw another member on here. Thats just my opinion tho.

With that said, nosfed is sometimes away from the board for days at a time because of business dealings so try not to jump in and say that he should post pics immediately, like aggiez28 said people do have a life outside of internet forums.

Re: Feedback for seller RuSSty

Very true. I guess $155 dollars to one person and $155 dollars to another person are totally different.
