Re: Feedback for seller RuSSty

so for every person who recieves a used part with high expectations of getting something listed as used for NEW.....i know there alot of people who buy stuff on here with these expectations who wouldnt but in no way in the ad did i state this was a new CAM it had been used therefore the chance for there to be wear is inevitable...i did not list any problems with cam due to the fact that it did not have any imperfections FOR THE 5TH TIME I POLISHED AND HAD CAM PIN CUT TO PROPER LENGTH BY A COMPETENT machinest....why would have he not told me there was so much wear before polishing cam...the way i sent out part was not as described by NOSFED....

and yes post pics of all 16 lobes why not NOSFED claims that evey lobe on the cam shows major signs of pitting so show all 16 lobes.WHAT I AM BEING ACCUSED OF is selling a cam which is completely UNUSABLE,,,,,,THATS THE CASE HERE AGGIE...

now for him to comeback and show 1 pic of 1 lobe then that would knock his whole argument saying that EVERY LOBE IS GARBAGE, nonetheless i had jumping lifters on a .560 lift cam with .625 max lift springs....

this dont seem right to me and now i am stuck cause i dont have any pics of cam to show i shipped with no damage...

In an attempt to take sides in this pissing contest, I must side with RuSSty. He's a great person to deal with, and Ive done it countless negotiations with him, and he is a genuine person.

If he sold you the cam stating that it was used, and you didnt request pictures to better determine its value, you're on your own. Its not the wisest decision.

Its sorta like a blind date.

Further, as mentioned before, you shouldn't have taken shortcuts and build a brand new built motor, and putting a used cam as its lifeline.

FWIW.
