On June 30 I struck a deal with Jerry Pruitt (aka OH95Z28 ) to trade a set of stock low mileage injectors for his 30#s he said that he was using a stock tune and the car was running rich. I told him that I would ship him the 24# injectors that I had recently taken off of my car. I told him that if he put them on and they solved his problem that he could send the 30s, if not just send them back. I got this pm message from him. on july 5th

"just to let you know i installed your injectors on my car and they work great i will be sending you the 30#s on monday and i will give u tracking"

Then I got this on the 7th of july
Hey i was curious would u want any money for them instead of me sending these 30# out incase something happend to mine on the car either way its fine just did not no if u would want money or these injectors

When I told him I would prefer the injectors I got this,
yea its cool i was thinking about doing a heads cam swap in the next month thats why i wanted to see if u wanted money instead
When I hadent received anything by july 12 I got this email, in response to my inquiry
u still have not recieved them? i sent them usps. ill get back to you later on today and let u know by the latest monday
Then this on july 15
yes sorry they sent them back to the post office because it smelled like fuel. i called them today and i am picking them up tomorrow and i will ship them again and give you tracking number

This on the 19 of july
Kory i am sorry for getting back to you so late my car is shutting on and off i am going to try out the 30lb tomorrow to see if the injectors are the problem or not. most likely its not the problem but i want to make sure. i can either pay u money for yours or give u the 30lb. I really do want to keep the 30lbs but its up to you i just started a new job and stuff and i have been really busy i get on this website from work all the time. But i really did send them out the first time and they came back to me. I am really sorry for taking so long but please let me know what u want to do

When I asked him what he was going to do to make this right he sent me this
i will either send u yours back or will u do 50 for the ones i have
On July 30 I got this in response to my email about my 50 dollars.
ahhhhhhhh i am sorry i will have the money to your paypal account by friday thats when i get paid
Lastly I got this on August 7
I am sending the injectors back one of them is not opening up. Sorry its taking so long me and my brother have z28's and he gets on this account 24-7 i am in LA right now for IT Training with my new job i will be back friday and will work on my car saturday and get them sent back out to u. I find it interesting that the injectors that worked fine on my car and fine on his per his email on july 5.
He has since quit responding to my messages.
Just so you know don't deal with this guy.

That sucks. Everytime you get comfortable selling/trading parts, some jerk shows up and ruins everything. I feel your pain.

 

that sucks. Thats why i really don't do buying and selling online anymore, on ls1.com i paid a guy 400 for headers and never seen them or my money again
