Dont buy from JnJSpdShop.

I ordered a center console and a sun visor. both were broken. visor was snapped apart and the center console had a broken ash tray and the clips were broken off. He tried to say it happened during shipping but the box was in prefect shape and the broken pieces were not in the package. I tried to resolve this in a civil manner but he blocked me. I wanted to make everyone aware that he will sell you broken stuff.
I feel pretty violated. Here are some pics.

 

How do I go about getting my money back?

 

I highly doubt he is a bad seller.He has come very highly recomended from a few personal friends of mine and I ordered my AFR 210`s from him along with kook 1 7/8" headers with y pipe from him.We shall see the heads are in and I am just waiting for the Kooks to arrive.

Well the items didn't leave my shop like that. I packaged them personally. I told you to contact Fedex about a damaged claim and you told me to stick it. FWIW the visor is suppose to be like that to go along with the contour of the roof. I told you you can send the Center console back and you would be refunded, however there isn't **** wrong with the visor. You paid $35.00 total and I spent $15.00 shipping those items. I told you, send the console back and you will be refunded $10.00 for that item. The offer still stands.

 

the broken pieces are not in the box. The box is also in ghood shape. I shouldnt have to pay another 15 dollars to get 10 dollars back. does that seem logical to you?

The visor is not supposed to flop down like that. There is supposed to be a bend in the cardboard within the fabric, but the item I received had the flap completely snapped off.

You wrapped the console in saran wrap. When I unwraped it no plastic pieces came off. How can you explain that. It obviously left the shop like that. The broken pieces never made it to the box!

And you pretend like you want to resolve the issue, yet i'm still on you're block list. I have been nothing but civil with you.

Why would you insult me with the "Spend 15 more dollars so I can give you 10" everyone on this forum sees this. That would be so illogical and unfair.

 

I'm contacting FEDEX. They will decide whether you packaged it properly or not. If they deem that you packaged it improperly, they say you are responsible for the cost. We'll see what they say. If the damage assessment comes back that the packing was done improperly, will you refuny my money?

 

The sunvisor isn't suppose to look like that.

And I just don't see how the ashtray could have broke like that during shipping, specially if it was boxed and packaged even half way decent. I give JnJ the thumbs down.

 

JNJ is not a bad seller and i can tell u that he IS NOT lying to u , he has to keep a reputatuion for his own shop so he would never sell u somthing that is ******* up or broken.
He is a good personal friend of mine and i have bought parts off him many many times b4.

If he says it left his place in perfect to new condition i belive him and it proly happened durnig shipping.

With a reputaion like jays he has to keep, so nooooo way in hell hed sell u crap or was it his fault.

I just dont see how that is physically possible, unless the broken pieces spontaneously combusted leaving no trace of their existance. And dont you find it insulting at all that he expects me to ship it back to him and pay more than the refund is worth, all because he couldnt remove the console without breaking it?

 

And I gave him fair warning to make this right. Not only did he package it improperly anyway, but its obvious the parts were damaged in the first place.

And the pictures are self explanitory.

I talked to fedex, they said that if it wasnt packaged to their standards JnJ is responsible to pay me back. I just dont see where other people's mistakes should come out of my pocket.

I messaged him and told him I didnt want to involve paypal or the creditcard company. He said they wouldnt be able to do ****.

I also told him I didnt want to resort to tarnishing his good name, but thats what its come to. I invite anyone to look at the pictures and decide for themselves who to side with.

I believe the only way for JnJ to show that he is a commodity to this forum is to make things right. We can all forgive someone who makes it their goal to make things right.

 

The pic is bad but the sun visor looks extremely worn out. Thats the only thing that causes them to get dog eared and floppy. I usually throw away visors that look like that.

As for the console. Having sold and shipped a few hundred items on Ebay, I can prety much say I've encountered every shipping problem you can think of. If something is going to break on a center console during shipping, It's not going to be the ash tray door. The fast that the broken parts are not in the box makes it more suspect.

Oh yeah...Your not going to get any money out of Fed Ex. They will always claim it was packed improperly and it wasn't their fault. The fact that it arrived broken will releive Pay Pal of getting involved. They will tell you to talk to Fed Ex.

If I were you. I'd buy a new ashtray door from the dealer and go on with life.

 

well what about the broken visor?i mean I totally got ripped off, and now ive got to go through all of this trouble. its really disappointing.

 

This is only from what ive read on here...but alot of people on here aren't too fond of jnj. I have never personally dealt with him, but i wouldn't count on getting your money back...there is just no way to prove if he did it, fed ex did it, or you dropped it or something.
