LM Performance

Ok so i ordered a stage 2+ clutch kit from spec through LMPerformance on the 27th of august. they told me it would be 2-3 business days to get the product to my door step. its now been almost 2 weeks later and nothing. so i call them up today and ask them where the hell is the part that i spent damn near $500 on and they said hold on let me go check. he comes back and is like oh its going out right now. Right now, i ordered that two weeks i said and hes like well sir i dont know what happened and why it didn't ship when it was supposed to but i cant do anything about that. i said sure you can give me next day air since your behind 9 days on shipping. he says no that cost extra. i said listen here you little **** head if part is not here by friday you can gaurentee that i will raise hell. he says ok well i will c what i can do. calls me back with a tracking number and said i cant do anything for ya sorry. i told him to cancell my order and **** off. they lost a $500 deal for someone not doing there job. way to go guys. way to run a company just forget, its alright. what a bunch a worthless workers. i don't recommened using this company at all guys.

>sorry to hear that.
If it went the way you say then they should have bit the cost of overnight shipping to keep customer satisfation.
you can do great for 100 customers, but screw up once and that word of mouth spreads like wildfire.

Not taking up for them, i dont think i ever heard of them but anyway. I know if a customer called me a **** head and started threatening me about "raising hell" I wouldn't help at all. I'd rather lose the sale then deal with an attitude.

Still though, it's there fault for not shipping it on time.

Overnighting would have been the right thing to do. However, if you talked to me like that over the phone, I probably wouldn't do anything for you either.

Use Edit: no free advertising for non-CZ28 vendors

LM is way overpriced anyway. I'm suprised anybody shops there.

i agree with getting an attitude with them. he said he didnt get an attitude until the guy refused to do anything for him. i hate companys that act like we should be at their mercy when without us the buyers they dont have a job at all. thanks for the info i will be sure to NEVER buy from these guys.

I really can't believe you posted like this. We tried to be reasonable with you, but you were completely unreasonable. we sold this clutch to at a HUGE discount AND FREE Shipping. Normally YES it would have been about 3 days to get to you. We sent the order to spec the minute after you called to make the order. SPEC somehow did not get the order so when you called us after the labor day holiday we asked SPEC for the status. They did not have the order. It's easy for someone to say they want free shipping overnight but you have to remember sometimes things take longer to ship then 3 days. Albeit this was a mistake but at Aprox $120-$150 for overnight shipping does that really seem fair? If every time a part did not ship the same day we would be required to ship next day air we could not afford to stay in business. We are a Christian based company and we will not lie to our customers. WE do the best we can with any given information. Also the clutch did ship the day you called correct ? I had no problem canceling the order the day you called for the status. if you would have then that would have been fine. But to do this and commit libel on such as scale is really uncalled for. I am actually going to defend you on one point, you also did not curse at us like that either, I thought you were pretty nice about it and I am really shocked by this post. I would appreciate if you would ask the forum leaders to delete this post.

On another note As far as the post about us being expensive ?? I find that hard to believe when we make nearly 10% on a part sale. We have very LOW prices in fact.

i for one would not like to see this thread deleted. i am sure that you would like that, why wouldnt you. that was his opinion and what right do you have to ask him to change his opinion. if you wanted to change it that much then you should have taken care of him when he was your customer. he did what he should have done. let everyone know about his experience. it is sad that you would come on the site and ask to have something taken off just because it makes your company look bad. you had the chance to please a customer and you guys dropped the ball.

Should be deleted......

He should have settled it with them in a proffesional manner instead of slandering them after the fact his order was cancelled. He cancelled it...so not much to complain about.....they were slow? they dropped the ball? So what.....you cancelled the transaction anyway. No need to turn this into something its not, thiings like this are alot easier to deal with when you play on a level field instead of making a post about it. Thats very childish the way I see it.

This is camaro28.com buyer seller feedback...you didn't buy it from here anyway.

This is the feedback forum, but I and I'm sure others would like to hear feedback on parties that don't necessarily post or advertise here. That could help save people money and headaches. Please leave this post. Both sides have had their chance to speak about the incident.

That is true. Since both sides have had their say, it won't do any harm to close it as now it is just people picking a side which is pointless to the situation.

mdacton is right for the most part. The customer was inconvenienced even though the vendor tried make up for it. The order was canceled anyway and since there was no theft involved, the customer was not "ripped off" like the subject originally said.
