Mikex70 sold me a bum rear.
The 'low miles, good condition' 3.73 rear with an eaton posi turned out to be a 3.73 eaton posi rear that was beat to hell and set up badly. It went to hell shortly after being installed.

Just want to bring this to the top.
Got a PM or two asking for details, so here they are.
The rear was advertised as a low mileage 3.73 Eaton posi 10 bolt that was built by 'professionals'. The only thing that was accurate is that it indeed had an Eaton posi and 3.73 gears. However:
Every bearing and seal was worn and/or leaking.
The gears were set up poorly and were so noisy that I couldn't hear my radio at any speed.
Within a week of putting it under the car it became a one-wheel-wonder due to the clutches in the Eaton being worn out.
The rear could not be rebuilt or the axles removed because someone overtightened the cross pin retaining bolt and broke it off. I Found the head of the bolt stuck to the magnet with the head rounded off.
The only part of that rear that was worth anything and is still being used was the summit knockoff T/A cover. The rest is sitting in my scrap pile because I had to cut it apart to get the brakes off for the replacement rear I installed.
