Pro Built Automatics - Bad To Deal With
I sent a 4L60E tranny to him about 1.5 years ago, and I havent been able to get it back. Wont return calls or PM's. Very Poor seller. Calimesa, CA is where is sits. Just wanted to let everyone know. Thanks alot Dana [Owner]

Dana, realize you've had my $1400.00 4L60e for over 2 YEARS, I've asked for it to be rebuilt, then returned, then even core refunded over that period of time. You've neglected my attempts at getting something in return for a transmission that I paid $1400 for, and that I guess I'll never get back. I then had to buy a replacement transmission to get my car out of a friends driveway, since it occurred to me that you were never sending it back.
Furthermore, you should realize that I could not prosecute the person who scammed be on the transmission because I could not produce the transmission that I bought from him? I spoke to local law enforcement and they specifically stated I had no case if I could not produce the item in which I wanted compensated for. Then the statue of limitations came into play.
So 2 years later, do you even have my transmission, did you sell it?
I am sorely disappointed in you Dana.

Not trying to pressure you but I am leaving out of state for six months in a week. So I just need to tie up lose ends before I go to training. If you can give me some info in a timely manner I'd appriciate it.

07-27-2009 Finally heard back from you...it's only been over 2 years since I sent the trans and 1 year since you promised a core charge, pretty speedy work. Not to mention all the phone calls I made.

Listen, it's just principles. I was forced to buy another transmission cause I never heard back from you. Now your complaining cause I'm asking for $200 for the $1400 trans you kept and wonder why I'm sore about it. Babysitting, how bout stolen? I've made every attempt to try and get it back, but I'll never see it again, just a lousy $200 core charge right?

You sent this transmission to me thinking it was mine, it was not. I told you to go after the person who sold it to you. How could I go after him when you would take no action to verify that is was not your work. I asked for a written testimony of the transmission not being yours and explaining why it is not I see you do not bad mouth him. I bad mouthed him enough to be warmed to stop.He FU over, I didn't. You have had my trans for 2 years and wont send it back 
I "never" did any transmission work for you, or was there ever any arrangements to do so, so you "do not" know my transmission work. I called a left you several messages in the summer of 2007 stating to give my an estimate on fixing what was there or doing your rebuild from the ground up Did not hear from you for a long time, then you and I PM'd each other. I called you for months, the only time I stopped calling was when I was at government training for 5 months. The last PM I got from you was in 2008 saying you'd issue a core charge I was slow at getting back with you, I admit. Over two years...yea pretty slow.Finally, you got a core charge refund, (more than what it was worth). Somehow babysitting a unit that should not have been sent to me to begin with makes me the bad guy. I asked you before I sent it. You said go ahead, then you agreed to work with me to go after the guy, but the communication on your end stopped. I cant expect you to help me chase down criminals, but the least you could do is respond back So be it. I won't lose any sleep over this.
