TransAm396 is a bad seller.

TransAm396 posted a set of clear corners on here about 2 months ago. I promptly sent him money via paypal. Couple weeks go past, and I hear/receive nothing, so I ask him for a tracking number. He says he shipped them (A couple weeks after I sent him the money)

A few PM's have gone back and forth, more often then not he doesn't reply to my PM's. I've asked him several times for a tracking number, or to contact the postal service he sent them with. So far, I've got nothing from him.

He's been extremely uncooperative during this, saying he'll get back to me by a specific date, but doesn't follow through, and just doesn't reply to PM's.

I suppose I now contact the folks at Paypal in hopes of getting my money refunded. Anyone have any experience with this?

TransAm396 you brought this upon yourself.

Ok, I will refund you the 26$ I must of screwed you out of. And as a matter of fact ive kept you updated all the way through. I dont know what you want me to tell you other than ive sold so much in parts I dont know why id screw you out of 26$. And you say I brought this upon myself...how do I know you didnt get them and your trying to screw me? Ive sold over 15,000$ in parts and havent had a problem but im about to ruin my name over a 26$ pair of lights? Think about it. Go ahead and put the negative on paypal..ill help you along through the process. =) Never once did you ask me for a refund which I would of gladly given.

You've kept me updated? That's the last message I've received from you, other then the message you sent me this morning calling me an ******* and an idiot. I sent you another PM a few days ago asking if you ever got around to checking at the post office.

I did think of asking for a refund, but I'd rather not have to wait 2+ months of trying to get that out of you either.

iwon: Thanks for the constructive comment. You'll notice in my post I don't really mention anything about the money, as that isn't the issue I'm concerned with. I'm concerned with him simply not returning PM's, taking over 2 weeks to claim he even shipped the item, and saying he'll do something, and he just doesn't do it.

And really, where do you draw the line? 50$? 100$?

If you think it's such a small value to lose out on, put your money where your mouth is, and send me 26$ If it's such a trivial amount to you, then I'm sure you wouldn't mind.

TransAm396: I would never plan on screwing someone over, but if I did sell an item, and the person never received it, and asked you several times to check into it, I'd certainly do something about it, and reply to their messages. It'd take you an entire 5 minutes to phone the post office and ask what's going on.

I would simply do it myself, but

A) I have no idea whom you shipped with.
B) You never supplied me with a tracking number, even after I asked you a couple times.

I just had a transaction with TransAm396. We traded heads. I sent him my trick flows, and then he sent me his le2's in the same box. If TransAm396 was out to rip someone off, why would he rip someone off for $26 and not take my heads and not send me his, where he could have made ~$1000 from ripping me off.

hence the ~ sign, meaning around $1000

Either way, I think TransAm396 should be aquited of all charges.

That's great that you got your parts from him. It doesn't help me get anything from him.

It could be possible that the item was simply lost in the mail, and if that was the case, a simple phone call to the post office would have cleared this up, but he has neglected to do that (or he did, and just decided to not mention it to me..)

Nor has he supplied me with any info I could use to see if it's been lost or even shipped.

very important to get a tracking number out as soon as you get the money

Why would you screw someone out of $28?? b/c you think you can get away with it...simple, I have had people do it to me before

2months is not reasonable, On the other hand If you can resolve it I would work it out and delete the post
