Summer of Camaro is here.

Now that we both have our 5th Gen Camaro's, we have been experiencing what it is like to be driving around a celebrity. We discuss this more with our experiences. There was also a thread started on the message board about this as well this week. You can check it out at https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=693796.

Transformers 2 will be released this week on June 24th. http://www.transformersmovie.com.

Cheryl Pilcher, Camaro Product Manager, confirms in a brief interview this week that there are nearly 25,000 sold orders for Camaro which is astounding! This is more than GM was expecting.

Sponsor of the week is Magnaflow, http://www.magnaflow.com.

We have 4 new voicemail's this week and give away a weekly prize.

There is a Camaro show coming up at Carlisle which will include a Camaro ride and drive. You can check out the details for the event at http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/events/gm-nationals.

Check out http://www.camarosuperfest.com.

Blogs are now live on CamaroZ28.COM! Just click on the blogs link on the top nav car in the message board to see them. https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/blogs/. Who knows, maybe we'll choose a blog of the week next?

We just launched our new Links program. You can check it out at https://www.camaroz28.com/links. This service allows you to add your personal website or car clubs site on our new Links page. It is very integrated with the Message board so you won't needs an additional account. Go check it out! Submit your site and have a chance of being chosen as our weekly site of the week.

Thumbs up Your show rocks! Can you talk about vroombox?

Hey guys! I have only listened to your last 3 podcasts but still you guys are by far my favorite podcast to listen to for camaro news because you guys have so much thourough and well researched facts and news in your shows. Well I am 14 and gonna be 15 in October so I cannot drive yet but I have been a camaro fan for the last about 5 years of my life. you guys have talked about your camaros you have gotten alot and I am trying to save up for one so I can eventually buy one by the time I can drive. I was wondering if you guys could maybe give some ideas on some of the better options to choose from on either the ls or 1lt trims for the 2010 camaro. many thanks. oh and also can you talk about vroombox? if you have heard of it. it's awesome and I have wondered if you have ever seen or heard it in a car. look it up if you haventheard of it. thanks a ton! AmCam (Americancamaro) ps. I was wondering how many voicemails you play in your shows. thanks again

Guess I should clarify something...

In no way in my voicemail did I imply that GM didn't care about what the customers thought. What I meant (and should've stated better) was that after surveys and research, navigation was low on the list of things people thought were important features for the Camaro.

No need, even if I had interpreted your message correctly (and I apologize if I didn't), it is the common feeling about that type of situation. Gooooood voice mail! Thanks for leaving it!

Sorry about that post guys... drunk posting...

I pretty much stopped drinkin... I FINALLY got a job as a tow truck driver, so I'm on call 24/7... I guess you can't be a drunk and do this job... I needed to cut back anyway, and I'm starting to think I can admit that I have a bit of a drinkin problem..

But I digress.. .

and... "Mudbone Jr.." that's cool! Funny, but cool..

And............ Was a NAVI system ever brought up during the concept?? I dind't hang around the concept room that much because it was usually the same thing OVER and OVER again.. People nit picking the SAME details and asking about T-Tops.
