Cool 3 way componets -- I neee mounting options

I have been looking at componet sets for the last 2 months and think I have finally decided on the 3 way CDT HD-642. See below.

http://www.cdtaudio.com/hd42_cdt4.htm

I'm wondering if I can mount the 4" next to the "componet pod" in a trans am. Is there anything behind this spot that would keep me from mounting them there. I know some people make custom kicks for these 4" but I'm 6'4" and need all the leg room I can get. Does any one have any suggestions for any other alternative mounting spots. Thanks.

but as the page says limited availability...but the pics werent working for me for some reason, if they dont work for you go into the photo gallery and check DJ Sexays car out theres pics in there.
<edit> these are small kickpanels only housing the 4" you desire, just an idea.

I've got some door panel pods that I made... They've got a 6, 5 and tweet in them. They worked out really well, the link is in the sig, it's on the "doors" link after you get to my page

JB - I am aware of Mikes custom kicks but like I said in my orginal post I need all the foot room I can get. Besides I have an M6 and am not keen on the idea of loosing my dead pedal.

Dr. Millhouse - I've seen your page before but never really thought of the pods being useful to me, but perhaps I could have someone build me a custom 4" pod that would blend with the TA's componet pod. Thanks for the idea!

Any other ideas anyone? Again does anyone know if I could just mount the 4" in the door itself next to the componet pod.

Keep the suggestions coming!!
