BOSE SPEAKERS 94Z
I have a new deck and all new speakers, but i used to have the bose system....everything is gone from the original system except the self amplified speaker in the back hatch, i know it probably wont be worth it to get it working, so would it be ok if i take out the whole thing?

not sure what you mean if it okay to take it out. The car won't stop running or anything If the rest of the system is out, it won't affect anything. I know in my 95 if its not plugged in the rear speakers don't work (I guess they run thru it or something). So yeah, yank it

Whe I put the stereo in my 94z (w/ the bose system), I replaced all the speakers, and got the amplified speaker in the back to work. It was pretty rigged to get it to work, but you can use it. It takes a lot of playing, and a lot of patience to get it right.

I know this post has been dead for a while but a question for womanfrankel. How did you get that rear speaker to work. What did you connect the wires to that come out of the speaker enclosure? (grd, 12v, +,-, etc)
