I just bought a 97 t-top and I'm loving however the guy I bought it from said there was one problem with it he couldn't figure out. If you open the car dor and push the lock switch on the door then get out and close the door it sets off the factory alarm. I want to get this fixed before I put a keyless entry in the car since right now it dosn't have one.

Open to any ideas on where I might need to start looking. or if anyone knows where I can find the wiring diagrams.

It could be a number of things. Does it go off the moment you close the door or a few seconds later? Does you dome light function properly. It has power door locks correct? It could have/has an aftermarket alarm also that is wired to the horn. This is probably gonna be hard to diagnose without digging in to it.
