on my friends 93 TA with no lighting mods whatsoever can make the fogs turn on w/o having the regular lights pop up.....but when i put the headlight switch straight up my fogs come on but my lights also popup.....is my car doing the right thing or is it messed up?

with your headlights off, flip on your foglight switch. then set your headlights to P(ark). that'll hit your foglights on without popping up the headlights.

very strange! I drive a 94, and when I do that only the foglights come on (I love the look so I do this often before complete sunset). you tried with the car on, too?

 

yeah, does the exact same thing with the car running...thats what i want to do...just the fogs looks badass at early night...but i cant do that

 

same here i can put on my fogs wihtout the lights up. i dunno why yours aren't workign that way. on a side lmao at the fact that u made a video of that!

still on it? the only piece of advice I have left is to not go from headlights (all the way right) to P. always come up to P from the off, and hit the switch. I think by now you must've tried everything? good luck!
