Post plastic adaptor

does anyone have an attractive solution to making the plastic adapters used for making aftermarket decks fill the 1.5 din hole look good? i thought about just painting it but then it wouldnt look good without painting other interior pieces. i dont want to get to contstructive, like molding it to the dash to make it look like one piece either cuz i wanna be able to take it out if i need to.

Using a flush mount kit rather than one that makes the front of the HU stick out almost an inch is pretty much the only option you really have. I didn't bother with trying to paint mine.

Your other option is to go with a 1.5 DIN HU.
