Starter Switch removal bypass
im having a hard time with the switch on my column that runs off of the rod from the ginition tumbler itsself, so i am throwing it in the trash. i like the idea of the s2000 starter button but i really want a toggle switch that will have an off, run, and start position, with the start having a return on it. now, realizing that i still am going to have to use the key, can i simply run the wires from the harness going into the switch, to a toggle, i am not familliar with using a relay, but if one is nessacary could someone please explain, how exactly to wire it in, i have seen the diagram of the s2000 button but i am not sure if it is going to be the same without the origiona switch in there on the column. i am trying to completley bypass that plastic piece of crap. thank you any help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Re: Starter Switch removal bypass
Well heres what I did...Go directly off your starter. Put in a kill switch where no on one will find it then continue on into the car and mount it somewhere on the center console or even hide that too...but put in a kill switch inbetween the starter and toggle. I have a push button start. So you turn your key forward then hit the push button and boom....you have ignition...takes about 30 minutes or so....

I have the push button but it is coming right off the starter though...I didnt tap into any of the ignitioin wires. You might want to check your fuse panel for a hot wire and that pink wire...or check somewhere on the bottom of your steering column
