Question Stock bose speakers have blown...Please help!!1

Hey im a noob to the forum. I just got my 95' z28 for what I consider a steal (65k miles, paid under $7k.) I love it but the speakers in the rear panels have gone to **** on me . I believe I have the delco-bose system set-up, and have been told that the only way to make any kind of replacements is to replace the entire system(amp, sub, all speakers.) The car already has an after-market pioneer head unit, so thats not a problem. Im hopin there's a way to replace the rear panels without having to shell out the money for a whole new system. Any help is appreciated, THANKS!!!!

Easiest at this point would be to just run new speaker wire directly from the Head Unit outputs to the Rear Sail Panel speakers. If you go that route any 6.5" Standard 4 ohm speaker would be fine.

The reason everyone replaces the entire system is because it's already an amplified system with 1 ohm speakers.....

But since you already have an aftermarket head unit, just replace the speakers with ones that match the correct 4 ohm load.

I would also just get matching speakers for the front doors and rewire those as well.....

BUMP

So...first thread I found in a search (and a great one at that.) I have an aftermarket Pioneer HU and one blown, one dead front speaker (so both are gone.) In the interest of saving money at this point, can I just run new speaker wire off the HU for the fronts (not using the Scosche) WHILE leaving the back ones hooked up to the Scosche unit (that thing that raises the impedance I believe)?
