Hey guys. I just bought 2 12" MTX subs for my 88 Camaro. As some of you know 82-92 Camaros Have little clearance from the back glass to the floor.
Well, The box for my subs is kindof trapazoidal rhombus type shape(not rectangular). Anyways...It doesnt want to fit in the back. It only fits when I put the back seats down and hang it over the edge. If you have any suggestions Please let me know. And I am not considering buying new subs I just got these and they ROCK!!! Sound wise anyways. =/

chop the box reseal it and re carpet it. silicone carpet wood nails 1/16 and you should be good to go!=D

 

If you are near me I have a box that fits two 12" subs for a third gen in the trunk well. way to big to ship if you aren't.

 

Is this a question? or just a anger statement? JUst cut it to make it fit if its a question. Ive found that pillow stuffing in a sub box makes them hit harder as well.

I don't know what the trunk looks like in your camaro, but i have an 00 camaro. I have the same system, and i fit it into the trunk cavity instead of the other area. Mine would also fit in the other area if i turned it so the subs we facing the fender due to the angled back. Hope this helped.

They do make them. I had an 88 Camaro before I traded it and got my 94. I had two 12" subs in it. It looked something like this.
