1994 Camaro B4C Police Pursuit Package +Plus+ - East of DFW
Selling my 1994 Camaro B4C Ex-Oregon State Highway Police Pursuit Package.
This car has been "in-the-family" since the original driver (Sargeant bought it off his department) 1998. Moved to southern Arizona, and then to East Texas. No rust, no salt, no ice. Dash mat its entire life.
It's never been wrecked, never been in an accident, not even so much as a parking lot bump.
Original paint, everything numbers matching except the transmission converted to an M6 from the 4L60E)
182k miles
The Good:
Engine rebuilt at 123k miles
All forged short block, built for 150 shot of nitrous but never put nitrous on it, stock heads with medium porting and enlarged valves, custom camshaft, crane gold rockers, spared no expense on all bearings, seals, et cetera.
transmission changed to M6 at 150k
new MSD vented opti, msd plug wires, and NGK plugs, all last week. Alternator 3mo ago.
Factory/police installed 1LE suspension package, performance handling package, oil cooler, 4-point roll bar/cage.
Koni adjustable front and rear shocks
better-than 1LE springs (don't remember) installed.
stock ride height, 5 caster, -5/8camber, 0-toe-in
3.23 rear gears (yes, insanely low rpm's at insanely high speeds), but since tranny change can't seem to accelerate very quick after 5th gear, pulls hard thru 5th. Needs more HP.
Full Collector Car Insurance $100 a year.
22mpg on auto, 24+ manual highway @ 80mph
bearcat radio scanner and switch array
2 extra salad shooter wheels and tires for slicks or backups, I think there's some old road tires on there now.
The Bad:
headliner needs fixing (falling down)
driver seat holster wear
normal parking lot dents, scratches, and otherwise minor cosmetic things you will expect out of a car that's 22 years old
So I thought I'd give the camaroz28.com community first stab at it before it goes on craigslist or whatever. It's been a great car, daily driver some years, occasional road race and autocross race car. So much fun, so fast. But most importantly handles so well.
I'm an hour and a half east of the DFW metroplex just off of I-20. There's so much more that I've neglected to add, forgotten, or don't care to write so just ask.
