I am the second owner of this vehicle and bought it with 36,000 miles on it in March %u201900 up in Tacoma, WA. I have driven this car daily ever since. I modified this car in a way that I can pass emissions, stay reliable, but still have fun with it once in a while. The cam I installed is not a high-maintenance cam, meaning constant valve adjustments are not necessary. I%u2019ve had the cam in the car over 2 years, and have only adjusted the valves twice since then. The T-tops are leak-free too.

This car had emissions done last year. It passed with flying colors, showing less than half the emissions in some areas since the cam swap over the stock cam and stock tuning. It%u2019s burning cleaner now than it ever has, even from the factory.

The car has never been in an accident of any sort.

The motor runs strong for what%u2019s in it. I have dyno sheets to back this up. The car isn%u2019t a cream puff by any means; it%u2019s definitely starting to show its age, but still cleans up nicely when you want to put the time into it.

I have nearly all the stock parts in my garage %u2013 you%u2019ll need a truck to get it all. Stock wheels & tires (excellent tread left), car cover, stock airbox, stock shifter, stock seats, stock springs, maintenance manual, and more. I think the only thing I%u2019ve ever gotten rid of was the stock stereo, but it didn%u2019t work anyway at the time of replacement.

I%u2019m interested in selling this car because I%u2019m moving soon and own 5 vehicles right now. Unfortunately I can%u2019t take them all with me. Additionally, my wife's rising Grad school costs are killing me right now..

Asking $7,000. Price is entirely negotiable. The car has recently started to show signs of opti problems, but if someone wants to buy it bad enough, I'll replace the opti for you for free.

Well the guy never did call me back so I'm guessing his ball-n-chain said no. Either way, if you're in or near Albuquerque I'd love to meet up with you and put a face to the name I've known on this site forever. PM me if you're interested for a lunch meet or something.
