97 Trans Am WS6, 355 ci, Red Supercharged, Clean One Owner

Sold

Up for sale is my ’97 Supercharged Trans Am WS6. The car is fire engine red in color with a grey interior, 6 speed manual transmission, and a hardtop. One owner. It has been garage kept and well maintained. Air Conditioning blows ice cold. This car is a dream to drive with a super smooth shifter and sure footed handling.

It has a Procharger supercharger kit, Special WS6 performance and handling package, Ported heads, Moser 9” rear end, larger brakes, and many more upgrades. It has power locks, keyless entry, power windows, power mirrors, Custom Kenwood Stereo system, matrix cloth interior, and cruise control.

I have spared no expense to make sure this car has the best of everything. It has a brand new GM air conditioning compressor and is freshly recharged with refrigerant. It has a new radiator and hoses and accessory belt. It has a new power steering pump and alternator. The rear bumper was showing its age so I bought a brand new GM bumper and had it painted to match the car. The front bumper has been freshly repainted also due to the normal fading with the rubber bumpers. This car shines like it just rolled off the showroom floor. There is one chip on the front bumper and one very small rub mark on the driver’s door. I would say the paint is a 9.

The mechanical stuff is great, the interior is excellent, the dash looks like new, the roof headliner just started to delaminate and I’m in Iraq and have not had a chance to buy a new one. It’s a very simple install though. It has a lot of highway miles on the odometer at approx 160,000 but the car does not show its age due to being stored inside for its whole life. The engine has about 30,000 miles and the tranny and rear end only have about 10,000 miles.

I’m looking to get Price Reduced $10,000 for the car. Feel free to shoot me an email to steveriddle4@gmail.com or call 859-212-0738. I’m in Iraq right now so please leave a message and I will return the call promptly. The car is located in Florence, KY.

Helluva car and helluva deal! The F1A folks is 6K alone. Congrats on the T-Vette too. If you ever decide to part it out if folks don't realize the deal going on here I want the SDCE bracket!

Thanks guys. I just bought a corvette so I'm trying to sell the Trans AM in one piece. If it doesn't work out I may begin to sell some parts off it. Its a very reliable supercharged car that has all the bugs worked out and is tuned extremely well. I also have more pulleys if someone wants to increase the boost at the track. I'd like to see someone have some fun with this car.

What kind of power does the car put down, and at what A/F?

I've only had it to the track one time. Best run of the day was a 12.2 at 120. That was at 10psi on street tires with a miserable 2.0 60ft and spinning the street tires badly. It is fully capable of 22 psi with a simple pulley change. With some slicks this car goes low 11's at full weight. I have the car tuned to a very safe 11.8 from 2000rpm all the way to 6200.

The car drives like stock around town. Its been garage kept its whole life. It gets 22 mpg on the highway thanks to a low rpm 6th gear. Put some slicks on it and it will lift the front tires.

Has a dynojet wideband commander with Map, Throttle Position, RPM, AFR to log and tune. In car mounted guage so you know immediately when something is wrong with your fueling. Julio's Methanol kit runs off a 2 bar Map sensor so you get just the right amount of meth. It also has a low level indicator and flow indicator. Methanol is adjustable from the drivers seat to make minor adjustment to flow on the fly. Methanol is easily added about every two months to the windshield fluid reservoir. Perfect for the street sleeper.
