97' Z28 6 Speed Manual...160K miles $2500 obo
Located near Detroit ... Price: $2500 obo.
Selling my Red 1997 Camaro Z28 with the 6 speed manual – as is. It has under 160k miles, and just blew a head gasket. Don’t know if there is any other damage to the motor. If you want the car, you must be willing to come and pick it up. Would be a great project or parts car.
The car is mostly stock with 30th anniversary gray leather interior, t-tops, and premium sound system. The interior is in good condition, has no tears or distressed marks in the leather. The car is just about loaded with power driver-side seat, power windows, locks, mirrors, and ac – all in good working order. The car was well kept and well cared for, but does show some signs of age. The exterior is good with a few minor dents, and no rust.
The t56 trans was rebuilt to Viper specs, with a Factory Five short throw, and skip shift disabled. The transmission is in good working order, and so is the stock rear end.
Tires are 2 months old, with maybe 200 miles on them – Toyo PROXES 4 Ultra High Performance All-Season 245/50R16.
Still has original literature. Also includes the official GM Haynes manuals for both the Body/Chassis and Transmission.
