FS: 2009 PBM A6 G8 GXP with 6,800 miles
* Update 3/6/2013: Sold *
After much debate, I think I've finally committed to selling my GXP. I've put everything I can think of in this post, but don't hesitate to contact me with questions.
History:
I purchased the car in Fort Lupton, Colorado from Purifoy Chevrolet in October, 2010. The salesman informed me it was one of 3 cars traded in by an older guy for a new Corvette ZR1 (the other two cars were a Challenger SRT8 and a regular Corvette). The GXP had been stored under a cover and only had 1,100 miles on it. It was flawless when I bought it. I daily drove it until I purchased another car in March, 2011. During that time, I put about 4,000 miles on the car. So in the last 20 months, I have only put about 1,500 miles on it.
Specs:
Panther Black Metallic
Automatic
Sunroof
Red/Onyx Leather
6,800 miles (might go up slightly)
Mods:
Rotofab with oiled filter installed within 2 weeks of purchasing; original intake included if purchased
15% tint all around
Also Included:
- Custom fit CoverKing Triguard Gray car cover with logo delete. I never took it out of the box.
- X-Pel Headlamp protection kit - new in the package.
Condition:
The car is nearly flawless aside from a few known defects:
1. There are a few rock chips in the front bumper, and one in the very front of the hood. The hood chip is the only one I notice; it's probably 1/2 the size of a pencil eraser. It could easily be touched up, but it hasn't bothered me. As everyone knows, this is extremely common for these cars.
2. There are a few scuffs on the driver's side door from my dress shoes I wear to work. I parked close to a wall in my garage, which made it a tight fit to get in an out, and consequently scraped the rubber from my shoes on it a few times. It might buff out, but honestly I've never tried since it's not noticeable.
3. The black paint is starting to peel off of the rear of the mufflers. I can take pictures for anyone interested.
As I said above, the car is nearly flawless both inside and out. I have taken extremely good care of the car and one can definitely tell that's the case. I have never had food in it, so it still smells like a brand new car. The tires have never been rotated, and the rears have more than 75% tread left. I have all service records for the car, including having the drive shaft changed due to a booming noise. I have not had the air bag reprogramming performed since I hate taking my car to the dealer here. I believe the original GM powertrain warranty is good through April, 2014.

I'm located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, which is just north of Tulsa. I am willing to drive up to 600 miles or so to meet the buyer near an airport so I can fly back.
Asking Price: $36,000
