1981 Z28 Air Induction Hood Wiring
Hello!
recently looking into fixing the Air Induction on a 1981 Z28, I cannot find any solid information on this online or even in the books. If anyone could take a few pictures for me that would be great!
Currently we have a orange cable and black cable hanging from the hood, I have read the orange goes to the throttle and the black is a ground. However, I do not know where to plug the orange cable to, it is only about 4 inches long.
Thank You!

Not a lot of 2nd Gen owners here any more.
Not a complete answer:

Orange is usually used for switched 12 volt positive, black for ground.
Rick's Camaros sells a "1981 Camaro Z28 Air Induction Solenoid Wiring Harness", for the solenoid, and also a "kickdown wiring harness". The short wires from the solenoid appear to plug into the kickdown wiring harness.
I tried to copy the links but they take you to the Eckler's Corvette site.
