I am new to building engines and I just want to put in a camshaft for a 305. I am just curious because I have my eye on a camshaft, but what else would I need? Do I need new lifters, new rockers, pushrods, valve springs to accommodate a new camshaft? Keep in mind its not gonna be a crazy over the top cam, just something to make it sound cool and give it a new rumble.
