Need help with suspension on 74 camaro LT
What is a good lowered spring/shock combo for a 74 camaro LT? 350 engine w/headers, no a/c, currently have rear air shocks w/ full air but not sure if some adjustable rear shock would be a better choice (I like the jack up rear end look), 225/60/14 tires on front and 255/60/15 tires on rear (if that matters).
Weekend driver, occasional track.
I've seen 1", 1-1/2", and 2" drop springs in online catalogs.
I like the lowered front look but not to where I bottom out on every bump in the road. (I do now because I was talked into "cutting a coil off my stock front springs") Now I want to do it right.
I'm thinking I want an 1-1/2" drop springs and appropriate shocks.
Eibach, Global west, Doestch etc?
Thanks for any help.
Brian

Hey Brian!
You might want to check out the website below. I spend almost as much time there as I do here. Anyway, there are several 2nd Gen owners there, and they are all into lowering for the purpose of handling. You can go to the "Cars" section and find out what mods some of them are using. Or you can go to the "Forum" and read or post any questions. Check it out:

Hope that helps!
