I have a nice 99 ws6 with lots of mods but wanted to do up a second gen again with rat and 6.71 or 8.71. I id a blown rat like 12 years ago but it went into an 8000 pound olds hearse..pretty neat but heavy!!!

So some questions...turbo 400 or turbo 350..how much heavier is turbo 400..are the gears not very good in terms of ratios compared to 350..Not concerned with price.

Is the stage 2 of the transpack still streetable..think there are three stages..rv,street and race..??

How big a gear ..planning on still street driving the car..no overdrive planned..what is good enough behind a supercharged rat..3.42..3.23..3.73..?? I am sure I don't want 4.10 or anything wilder..No plans for overdrive at this time .

Who and how much are 12 bolts for our cars and do they work with my disc brakes..??


What gears are likely to be in my car..not sure yet what engine it had..it had a 400 dropped in recently before I got it.Would they be 3.08 or 2.73 or 3.23 or 3.42..they feel really gutless even with the 400??

Thinking of those three way adjustable ce shocks..
can they be used on the street as well as the track??

Thinking of south side lift bars..do they work ok..are they streetable..

Do they make any 12 bolt or nine inch that will work with my rear disc brakes..
Will my 10 bolt survive some track runs seeing as my car is an auto..

How much stall should I buy..looking at b and m holeshot..2500....3000 still want it to be street driveable..

How big and exhaust..2and half inch or three inch..will run headers of course..
and what flowmasters sound mean and work good with the big blocks.?

Also what compression ratio to shoot for..again plan on street driving but some track use..8.1..7.5 to 1..???

How big a carbs will I need and what is minimum I could get away with..I got a new edelbrock on my car not sure what size it is yet..Just got car a few days ago..

Also what size backspacing on wheels..probably go weldwheel...15 by 8 in back and not sure maybe two sizes front..15 by 8 also for overall street driving and 15 by 4 or whatever for track...
