taking out radio
#2
It is quite easily done. Pull the radio ***** straight off. Behind the ***** you will see a nut. (Sometimes it is a spanner type and sometimes just a hex nut.) Remove the two nuts to free the radio from the dash. Some models had a small brace affixed from the rear or side of the radio up to the dash. If yours is so equipped you will need to remove that small brace. All that is left then is the antenae and the power and speaker wires.

Well actually I guess what I really wanted to know was how to take the faceplate off. I saw in Year One catalog you can order the face plate seperate from the main piece.. I was going to take mine out and try to cut it to put in my cd player. I don't want to pay someone else to put it in when i'm sure I can
