Basic Hypertech Question
I plan on purchasing the Hypertech Thermo-Master power chip for my 94 Z28. I know that I will need to purchase a Hypertech Power Stat thermostat as well. However, can I also purchase the Hypertech Power Tuning Module *** well and install that in addition to the Thermo-master and thermostat? Or is it the type of setup in which u can only use one or the other? Please give some feedback because I am very unfamiliar with auto computers.

Are you sure they sell a chip for a 1994? The 1994 uses a flash chip for programming and you would normally use a Hypertech Power Programmer (or LT1_edit, Tunercat...)and not a chip. 1993 was the last year for replaceable chips.

I would think long and hard about getting TunerCat or LT1_Edit instead of an HPP. For about the same amount, you could pick up an old laptop, the software, and the cable.
Using an HPP instead of software when you are modding a car is like using tweezers when you need vice-grips. It just really isn't going to do you much good.

Mods etc. - Mac headers, 3" cutout, Moroso CAI
(above times are before headers)
