Well i am assuming that your car is a 94 or 95? If it is, it should work. the safest way would get the service# off the PCM. if the last 3 digits are xxxxxx051 it will work.

94/95 F-bodies shares the same PCM as B-Bodies.

Taner, here is a break down of the interchange for a 96 PCM. This is right off the computer I work off of everyday. You can trust it. Good luck

Hay where is the # on the PCM- I have one sitting in front of me, and I don't see a #- Is it on the board inside?

It is possible that GM's service tag is not there, its a small rectangle white sticker. Some times the sticker looses its "stick" and they peel, or fall off. The service# tag is on the outside case, not on the inside.

The service # is at the bottom of the tag. If the tag is not there, there is an indication inside the PCM. But that means taking the "clamshell" apart.

Quick Question. Where are you getting your ECM flashed? I need a source to do this.

Talking What is the indication

How can you tell buy looking inside?

Well i guess the question would be, when you say "flashed" are you meaning stock form, or flashed for your mods?

GM can flash your PCM with a stock calibration- But it is pricey, plus you have to have the PCM installed in the car.

Aftermarket "flash" or programmed- There are tons of these scattered about, majority of these have good reputations. Some are better than others. Seems pcmforless( www.pcmforless.com)is popular, and customers seem happy!

Unfortunatly, there is not a service tag or any other indication inside the PCM that gives any info. It is done by recognition of the hardware. Basically there are 2 sides of the PCM known as the
"T-side" and "E-side" and each side has its own flash chip. If both sides have an 28F512 its a 94/95 PCM. If one side is a 28F512 and the other is 28F010 its an 96/97 PCM.
