Scan9495: Free OBD1 scan app for 93/94/95 LT1

re: Scan9495: Free OBD1 scan app for 93/94/95 LT1
Dump it into Excel and you can convert the units to whatever you want. Someone sent me a log from Gary's system, and I did the MAF change on the spreadsheet. Then I added a column to track BAR vs MAP delta at WOT, and listed those in both "Hg and kPa. It's no different than the people who send out DataMaster files with temps in *C..... need to be converted.
While having options would be useful, it's more than enough that we have the system in whatever units he chose

The 12-pin to 16-pin adapter I bought will NOT work for the purpose of adapting a 16-pin cable to a 12-pin car. That is specifically why I bought it and I found that the wires on the 16-pin end do not match the ones needed for the 95 F-car. Now it is possible that the one I bought is different from others available but I would not count on it. Correcting the wiring would be a major task since these are "potted" meaning they are sealed in epoxy and extremely difficult to change. You would be better and safer buying a 16-pin female connector, buying the 12-pin to 16-pin adapter and removing the 16-pin end, and splicing them together.

Try some Cayenne (red) pepper sprinkled around the engine compartment. That worked for me keeping pesky rodents away from the car. Now my car is figuratively "hot" ;-)

Due to overwhelming demand (not really), I have changed the units for MAP and Baro to kPa and for MAF to gm/sec. Use the June 27 version. Eventually I want to set up something like Datamaster has with a selection for each parameter, as time permits.

re: Scan9495: Free OBD1 scan app for 93/94/95 LT1
Thanks to a generous Ken G. here at the camaroZ28.com forum, who sent me an ABS-TC module for a 96, I can now say that this app and the one for the V6 will read and reset the ABS trouble codes for the 96. It will also, at this time, display the non-TC live data. Having a TC-type module that is compatible with the 94/95, the TC data is now something I can add as time permits. The app will not, of course, read the OBD2 PCM; but you can use it for the ABS only, after turning off both the Engine and Transmission scans.
The cable for this would be the same as for a 95, since the ABS module was still on the ALDL/OBD1 bus in that year.
There was only one minor change to be made, to the app's MALF.csv file, to add a TC-only DTC34 for the left rear wheel. It would appear without a description before the change. BTW, for a 96 the Tech 2 shows the added number "12" to the front of all the ABS codes, so DTC34 became DTC1234. The app still shows only two digits for all codes.

recently downloaded this and with my adl cable scanned the car with ign on but not started due to a no start prob. My question is how do I download my scan so someone can give me some info on what my car is doing or not doing?
