tuner cat ----tuning a few functions
One....
Give me pros cons of tuning so the car stays in open loop so I can run race gas for our track-only nitrous setup. If I am thinking right...I can just set the temp up so high it will never enter closed loop and use the O2 sensors... Is this going to screw up my tune much...? The car shoudl still drive and run fine, it jsut won't be as adaptive. And...If I know my stuff right....at WOT...it's not a factor.
Two...
next year we are going to a TH350. In tuner cat should I just select it as a M6 so that the transmission functions are no longer needed...? I am going to get the adapter so the speed sensor still works though. Am I thinking right and/or are there any other steps I need to do...? I'll just be bundling the wires for now. Not going to cut anything. Someday we'll jsut put in a new harness.
Thank you.
